    • no manual container handling
    • no danger by exiting/entering cab
  3. Reduction of personnel cost while increasing days collection numbers, because
    • only one driver (driver=loading personnel)
    • easy and quick handling
    • no waiting time for packer cycles (packing on-the-go
  4. Easy operation with graphic display and CanBus-electronics
    • integrated self-diagnosis with faults displayed in clear text, self-test function available
    • display of all sensor conditions/signals in clear text
    • adjustment of semiautomated lifting motions using a password-protected self-teach function
    • multiple menu-configurable interfaces for usual weighing and/or identification

  5. Schmidt-own certified weighing system

    • 5 years warranty on load cells

Rearloader HEIL PowerLink

Data sheet

The HEIL specialist for residential refuse. With universal rear window for usual lifting equipment. The PowerLink has been developped especially for residential refuse collection based on the 15+ years experience of the well-proven Mark V “Big Bite” and has not only adapted its swing-link packer design, but has also consequently improved it. The slide of the PowerLink is guided as well on top as on its bottom by swinging links. Different lengths of these rods cause an additional compaction during the slide-up motion. The minimization of friction in easier-to-maintain rotating bearings compared to high-wear slide block & rail systems causes much more of the compaction energy to be brought into the collected material. The much higher efficiency results in a better compaction ratio with the same time reduced wear and energy consumption. By placing the packer blade cylinders with their rods pointing upwards (and oil supply throught the rods) these cyclinders have a life expectation which creates a new standard in such rough enivronment.

By using curved side walls without further ribs the body reaches an enormous rigidity at a reduced empty weight and provides a smooth surface e.g. for advertisement purposes.

Since 2005 even the PowerLink like all other HEIL bodies is fitted with a CanBus control system, providing various self diagnoses features and keeps the operator informed at any time about operating conditions with an integrated text display.

Rearloader HEIL Mark V "Big Bite"

Data sheet

The big one from HEIL, a specialist for all kinds of bulky refuse. No matter whether used for hand loading or for containers (from MGB 1.1 up to 16 m³ skips), the 2,5 m³ of hopper volume eat everything. When compacting the refuse, the Mark V shows its main advantage. The lower end of the packer mechanism is hung on swinging rods, eliminating the need of guide rails in the side walls, compacts at a much higher efficiency compared to standard rail-guided packer mechanisms which naturally higher rates of friction do not only reduce the compaction ratio, but also cause expensive wear. By having ribs surrounding it, the body is very rigid. The body is available in three volume versions, with 21 m³ for 3-axle chassis and with either 27 or 31 m³ for four-axle chassis (each plus 2.5 m³ hopper volume). The ejector panel is guided on low-friction rollers ans is moved by a multi-stage telescopic cylinder. Various types of lifting equipment (open back, low lifter for MGB 1.1 using lift pins or comb and finally a big Container hoist) complete the specialist for bulky and industrial refuse. Since 2006 the Mark V like all other HEIL bodies is fitted with a CanBus control system.
