In fact, there are now two more Schmidt Kommunalfahrzeuge subsidaries, following the company's headquarters in Groß-Rohrheim and the site in Brahmenau, which have now been added to the range of rental stations. In the rather young Schmidt Kommunalfahrzeuge subsidary in Hofheim-Wallau, the focus is primarily on the repair and overhaul of suction, pressure and tank vehicles (SDT) - after all, this is the well-known SDT repair workshop formerly called Trost, which has already made a good name for itself over many years as a wet vehicle specialist. But in Wettringen - Schmidt Kommunalfahrzeuge's youngest site - it is also possible to rent suction, pressure and tanker vehicles as well as numerous other municipal vehicles. Schmidt Kommunalfahrzeuge's vehicle programme includes refuse collection vehicles in 2-, 3- and 4-axle versions as well as truck-mounted sweepers in the 7 cbm category, fully equipped winter service vehicles and, more recently, refuse bin washing trucks and underfloor special vehicles/crane loaders.

Vehicles in these different categories will be shown at Schmidt Kommunalfahrzeuge both on a spacious exhibition stand (stand no. 712/15as well as in the VAK Arena at Truck-in-action. These are mainly interesting new vehicles that are not only available for rent but also for sale. From the 2-axle refuse collection vehicle "Nanos" with alternative electric or gas drive to newly designed suction, pressure and tank vehicles to the solid crane loader "Hades" (for underfloor and depot containers) as well as the innovative barrel washing vehicle "Taifun" to the well-known front loader "Thanos" - with a newly designed control panel in the driver's cab - everything is there, The large Schmidt Kommunalfahrzeuge portfolio includes everything that is serviced by a number of Schmidt Kommunalfahrzeuge disposal vehicle specialists, as always.
 
Whether in the rental department or in sales - SKF knows the current situation with regard to the procurement of new vehicles by customers. The SKF rental department, in particular, is now pooling all its resources to better cushion the current bottlenecks in the availability of new municipal vehicles for customers, at least temporarily, with a good rental offer.
